We work on the psychological problems of children, young women and girls who are survivors and victims of wars and ethnic conflicts as well as assisting the most vulnerable children in the South Kivu area of the DRC. We believe that psychological support is a prerequisite for the consolidation of peace, justice, social reintegration and prevention of violence in the long term.
We work on minor, moderate and severe trauma by building trusting relationships with patients. We recognize that it takes time for a patient to improve their mental health: patience and perseverance allow us to move forward in this work.
In our experience, trauma healing promotes resilience and is part of the process of building a better future for patients.
