Formal and Informal education
When we think of education, of course we think of school and family. Education aims for individual and collective emancipation and the transformation of society. In particular, it helps to promote social progress. Education is a major aspect of any democratic society. By promoting socio-economic mobility it is a route out of poverty. However many young people in eastern DRC have missed out on their education as a result of the recent wars and ethnic conflicts.
CSC-Asbl organizes training to help children and young women who have not had the chance to go to school due to poor living conditions. We sponsor children who have been victims of wars and ethnic conflicts and those with difficult living conditions.
